Could use slides three and four in the Presentation: Programming the LED to flash to help them build their code; could be encouraged to check what is the same and what is different between their code and that displayed on the slides.
Learners working at a stretch
Could explore beyond the prescribed code; could, during pauses in the videos, see if they can suggest code blocks that might come next – particularly during the second video; could try using the show LEDs block and changing which LEDs light up to create a unique pattern; could move on to the extension task.
