  • Learners may need support to tear the paper strips. Check that they follow the process.

Learners working at a stretch:

  • Encourage learners to write the paper making process in their visual journals, with labelled diagrams. They can suggest ways they could change the process to create different effects.
  • Colour wash another page in their visual journal.
  • Revisit their designs from the previous lesson, and consider any improvements or changes they may want to make in preparation for painting the paper in the next lesson.
