Differentiation

Learners needing support:

  • Learners can circle the pictures/patterns that they will use from the printable Activity: Ancient Egyptian art and patterns. Guide learners to first trace the outline of the object before copying it onto their colour wash.
  • Provide paper that is already torn for them to choose from for their artwork.

Learners working at a stretch:

  • Encouraged learners to draw more complex patterns and use a mix of media.
  • Learners can try to tear the shapes from paper and create patterns with the torn pieces.
