May need support pinning and cutting their fabric (using the sharpest part of the scissors, the part nearest the handle).
Learners working at a stretch:
Should have neat, straight cuts on their fabric, possibly re-trimming it to ensure that the edges are tidy, taking care not to take off too much fabric.
